What is Helium?
Helium is a colourless, odourless, tasteless chemical gas and is the second lightest gas in the universe.
Is it dangerous to inhale helium?
Yes, Inhaling helium is dangerous and can cause breathing problems and can be fatal. We strongly advise that you DO NOT inhale the helium inside the balloons.
How long will a helium filled latex balloon last for?
Latex balloons only last a few hours. This is because the helium can escape through the latex easily, therefore resulting in the balloon to stop floating.
How long do helium filled foil balloons stay afloat for?
Foil balloons will float for at least a week, often for a lot longer if kept at room temperature. Very warm or very cold rooms will tend to make the balloon deflate at a faster rate.
If you let a helium balloon go what happens to it?
If you let go of your balloon indoors this will float to the ceiling and stay there. If you let go of a helium balloon outside, it will float into the sky and you will not be able to get it back. So, make sure you hang on tight to your balloon when outdoors!
Do you have a retail store?
No, we are an online only business at the present time.
Is my payment secure?
Yes, payments made through Paypal are secure and are covered with a “Buyer Protection” policy. If the product you have purchased online doesn’t arrive, Paypal will reimburse you for the full amount of the product plus shipping costs, as long as the eligibility requirements are met. I don’t have a paypal account, can I still pay online?
Yes, you can pay by debit or credit card too.
Can I pay cash for my order?
We prefer all orders to be paid for online but do accept cash payment too. Please contact us to discuss this option further.
How do I place an order?
Browse through our online store and add products to your shopping cart and select how you would like the balloon to be delivered (i.e inflated/deflated) When you are finished shopping, go to the checkout and follow the simple steps to confirm your order and make payment.
How do I arrange collection/delivery of my balloon?
All deflated balloons (balloon only) can either be collected or posted with tracked delivery.
Helium filled balloons can be collected or courier delivered within Rangiora and 15km from Rangiora.
When placing your order you simply select whether you wish to collect your balloon or have it posted or courier delivered. Once your order has been received, we will contact you by email to arrange a convenient time for collection/courier delivery.
Do you ship overseas?
No, we are only able to deliver items within New Zealand.
Can I pay via Internet Banking?
Yes, in most cases we can offer this but please be aware that your balloon will not be delivered until payment has cleared.
Can I get an unfilled balloon and fill it myself?
Yes, we sell unfilled balloons as well as air and Helium filled. You must select the “deflated” option at the checkout if you wish to fill your own balloon with helium.
Am I able to get a weight for my balloon?
Yes, all our balloons come with a weight attached to the bottom of the ribbon at no extra cost.
